Team Structure

​Team structure is one key to organization and success of a FIRST Robotics team. Cybersonics is structured like a 21st Century corporation with separate divisions that have a lot of collaboration, flexibility and cross over. We are currently divided into manufacturing, animation, and communications groups. Overseeing each group are adult faculty advisors and mentors from industry. Team 103 also has a board of elected student officers who carry additional responsibilities. Over and above these roles, each student holds another position related to competition days/sites themselves. While team structures vary in the FIRST program, most teams create divisions or groups directly related to the award competitions themselves: Manufacturing the robot, the Inventor Award (design competition), Animation, and Chairman's Award.
